1)   Do you intend to join the Class of 1964 reunion?

Yes No
The most likely date will be the last week of May 2024 to coincide with Founders Day at the school. This will be confirmed later when that information is available.

2)   Do you favour a gala dinner of the kind held in 2014?

Yes No
The gala dinner was held at Mount Edgecombe Country Club. It included drinks (wine and soft drinks), music, flowers and table decorations, food, photographer, goodie bags including "Wrinkles" labelled bottles of SA wine, a book mark, poem by Rozanne Baker (nee Language), an embroidered Class of 1964 golf shirt, and horse fly sweets. Speeches included those by Barry Richards and a candle-lit tribute to each classmate who has died, orchestrated by Rozanne Language (whose brother, Hilton was our first deceased member). This splendid event was heavily subsidized by members and cost each attendee (except the few honoured guests) around R350. Next year it is possible that the "tickets" will be around R500 per head.

3)   If you answered YES to the previous question, and considering the HINT above, will you attend the gala event?

Yes No

4)   Will you attend any of the Foundation events at the school? (Details to be announced in good time by the Foundation)

Yes No

5)   Where will you be traveling from?

6)   Do you require financial assistance, to attend the reunion?

Yes No

7)   Will you assist the reunion organization financially?

Yes No
In 2014, several members generously donated cash (to the Reunion treasurer) which went to help a few classmates to travel to and attend the events, allowed us to bring in Barry Richards and honoured guests (Head Master and spouse). There were also in kind donations (see next question), e.g. Goodie Bag fillers, including the beautiful golf shirts and the wrinkles wine.

8)   Will you help with any in-kind donation? Please give details in the confidential box at the end of the survay.

Yes No
This includes help with getting stuff done, transport, accommodation, etc. Please add your thoughts to the comments box at the end of the survey.

9)   Would you join an extended celebration in the Natal Drakensberg (or other location: please add ideas to the comments box at the end of the survey)

Yes No
In 2014 a group of 12 spent 3 enjoyable nights at Cathedral Peak Hotel. Some stayed longer. Although this was a wonderful experience, it was no substitute for the main events at the school or the gala dinner. It is nevertheless worth considering and is relatively easy to organize.

10)   Do you have any comments on your answers? If so please add to the CONFIDENTIAL COMMENTS BOX below. Thank you for responding to this survey.
